- 3Top pickTrue PhenomenonSanchez M J · Ness Jamie

Value play5 Obstinate Bet at 7-1 or higher
Dismissed at 9-1 in her last start, but fits this field. Has won 10 times over this track. Trainer Felix Flores-Coba has a strong record with horses coming back in 31 to 60 days.
- 6Top pickBective AbbeyRodriguez Y · Linder Louis Jr
Why Bective Abbey: Has improved in each of the last three starts. Holds a small speed edge in a bunched-up field. Quickest from the gate in a dirt sprint that tends to favor speed.
- 3Top pickPoint BarrowMartinez F · Abrams Jack
Why Point Barrow: Narrowly the fastest on recent figures. Broke through with a win in his last start. Has hit the board in 6 of his last 6 starts.
- 3Top pickChelsea WallChuan M · Ness Jamie
Why Chelsea Wall: Has run faster lately than anything else in here, and it isn't close. Trending the right way, with each of her last three better than the one before. Broke through with a win in her last start.
Value play5 Mary's Reward Bet at 5-1 or higher
Should be a bigger price than this horse's chances deserve. Steps down in class off a starter optional claimer. Proven at this kind of distance.
- 4Top pickZeus' WarSilvera R · Padilla-Preciado Ernes
Why Zeus' War: Tops this field on recent speed. Finished 2nd in his last start, 3½ lengths behind the winner. Trainer Ernes Padilla-Preciado has a strong record with sprinters.
Value play2 West Coast Bull Bet at 7-1 or higher
Rates as a live contender but projects as an overlooked price. Steps down in class off a claimer. The Ernes Padilla-Preciado barn does well with horses first off the claim.
- 7Top pickTariba DreamCastillo A · Abrams Ronald B
Why Tariba Dream: Has run the fastest numbers of anyone entered. Finished 3rd in her last start, 2 lengths behind the winner. Rarely runs a bad one: top three in 6 of 6 lately.

Why Amazing Woo: Holds a big edge on recent speed over this group. Took a big step forward last time. Finished 3rd in his last start, 2½ lengths behind the winner.
Value play2 Carbonite Bet at 4-1 or higher
Went off at 8-1 last time but rates as a real contender here. Last start was a clear jump forward for him. Can use his gate speed to get first run in this sprint.

Parx Racing picks FAQ
Are these Parx Racing picks free?
Yes. Every Parx Racing card gets a free top pick for every race, a value play with the minimum odds worth taking, and the Best Bet of the day. Trackside Edge members also get the top three in every race with win estimates, pace notes, confidence ratings and multi-race tickets.
When are Parx Racing picks posted?
Our Parx Racing picks go up before the card, once entries are out, usually a day or more ahead. This page always shows the current or next Parx Racing card, and every past card stays in the archive below.
How are the Parx Racing picks made?
Every horse is rated by the TracksideProfits handicapping model: speed figures, current form and the likely pace first, then trainer and jockey, distance and surface fit and pedigree, then class, layoffs and workouts.
What does "Bet at 6-1 or higher" mean on a value play?
It is the lowest price at which the value play is worth a bet based on our win estimate. If the horse is shorter than that at post time, the value is gone.
What if one of the picks scratches?
Move to the next pick in that race. Picks are made before scratches and late changes, so always check the final field before you bet.
